Did you know that we have an official affiliate of Keep America Beautiful right here in Douglasville? If not, we know you have seen their work around town. Keep Douglasville Beautiful is responsible for the impressive Military Honor Garden at Hunter Memorial Park and Freedom Island on Campbellton Street and Hospital Drive. They are constantly working on beautification projects all over town and work tirelessly to improve our community. Executive Director, Chan Weeks, joins us for this edition of Douglasville Impact. The WSA is a prize winning provider of clean drinking water for our community. For decades now the Douglas County Chamber has been serving the businesses and citizens of Douglasville and Douglas County. Douglasville Impact Quadcast featuring Chris Cartwright

On this week's show we welcome back Chris Cartwright, Golf Professional of West Pines Golf Club.  West Pines is the jewel of the Douglasville park system. The course has been featured in golf magazines and websites as being one of the bet municipal courses in the Southeast and was rated 4.3 out of 5 stars by Golf Advisor. Many improvements have been made over the past two years including new grass on all the greens, improved cart paths, and a state of the art teaching facility.  Chris also tells us about how the course has adapted to doing business in the current pandemic situation.
